Isolation Tank ImageFunny how time flies even when my life sucks. How ironic.

Today I received Isolation Tank's catalog. This could be old news or not (they don't mention a launch date) but they have a whole new website now and it's very nice indeed. The catalog is a huge 176 magazine-size pages with half of it dedicated to industrial, gothic, and experimental, with the other half covering ambient and electronica (ie: the happy stuff). Their site is now here: www.isotank.com

*Irony #2: Just as I was entering this update, I was listening to Real Synthetic Audio (the kick-assiest radio show on earth) and Mr. Todd just complained about "the crappy service...at Isolation Tank". I felt I should mention this after giving them such a shiny happy plug here! To be fair, post your own opinions on their service in our message forum.(Maybe service is only crappy when shipping to Canada? Who knows...)

Coming soon! We've secured photos from the one-time Skinny Puppy reunion concert in Dresden Germany!

6 new reviews added to the Music Exile, including new releases from Funker Vogt, Din Fiv, and Diary of Dreams.

On a tip from a reader; Very good electro band here: www.neuroticfish.de.

 from Metropolis Records:

Keeping up with the new signings here! I am happy to announce that we have added Mesh to the Metropolis stable. Their sophomore album, The Point at Which it Falls Apart, will be released domestically on Oct. 31. Look for new material from Mesh to follow in 2001.

Die Form: The legendary French S/M band Die Form are back with their first new studio material in over two years! With "Extremum", they invite you are to enter the world of "forbidden art" and explore its many wonders. The originality and imagination created by the complex sonic worlds of Die Form will expand, ignite and incite your thoughts and senses. Many photographs of dark erotic artworks and artifacts are shown in the booklet.

Tracklisting: Resonant Magnetic Source, Deep Inside, Glassphyxie, Radiomorphism 1+, Animal Magnetism, Operating Theater, Electronic Brainpan, Itopsia Atropos, Neurolepsia, Transgressions 1, O.T.E.D., Transvocal Mutations, Suffocations, Radiomorphism 2

Juno Reactor: Pistolero, the first single from the upcoming album, Shango, is a collaboration with guitarist Steve Stevens (Billy Idol). Imagine a blend of Spanish classical guitar and traditional trance! Think Lee Hazelwood, mixed with today's electronica, meets Pulp Fiction!!! Single features seven mixes for this fantastic song, including a bonus mix not found on the import version.

Tracklisting: 1. radio edit 2. juno reactor mix 3. fluke hang em high 4. headrillaz 'sandinista 5. man with no name 6. picture of man (?) *previously unreleased 7. tarantino radio mix.

Velvet Acid Christ: The new album Twisted Thought Generator has been pushed back until Nov. 14. Sorry for the delay, but it will be worth the wait!

 from S.P.O.C.K.:

"Holy phasers, it's been quite some time but the silence has it's explanation: we are incredibly proud to finally be able to announce that S.P.O.C.K, after six intensive months in the studio, have recorded their fifth album "2001: A S.P.O.C.K Odyssey"!!! A masterpiece which truly takes over where the previous, awarded record "S.P.O.C.K: 1999" left off! Some selection of tracks and small work remain to be done whereupon the lovely strains arrives humanity at the end of October. Of course there will first be a single, namely the catchy pop tune "Where Rockets Fly" which appears a month earlier!"
