Axoe is the electro-pop duo of Evan Sornstein and Patrick O'Connor. These guys must really like how they look, because not only are their faces on the CD cover, the entire CD booklet is packed with photos of them as well. At least they were kind enough to devote one page of photos to the four guests who contributed to this album. And I must say that the female guests Fonta Hadley and Charlotte Brewster are very pretty. They're almost as pretty as Patrick O'Connor...HA!

Axoe makes electro-pop music that is borderline sugary sweet. The electronic programmed sounds and beats are catchy, the keyboard melodies are light and bright, and the vocals are happy sounding. Listening to this music makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. It also makes me want to dance. Hey DJ, play some Axoe and lets get this party started!

Seriously, I usually don't like music as happy sounding as this, but there's something about it that I find appealing. It's well done and entertaining. The energetic dance tracks are fun, and the slower more romantic songs are soothing.

To my surprise this CD was mastered by Da5id Din (Din_Fiv / Informatik). As much as I enjoy this Axoe CD, I seriously hope that this is not what the next Din_Fiv and Informatik albums sound like.

If upbeat electro-pop music is your bag, give this Axoe CD a spin. It's sure to brighten your day.
