Reviewed by: Darklight This is the single for the song "Bartender" from (hed) PE's "Broke" CD. This song mixes a lot of variety and changing emotions that keep it interesting. It has a catchy edge and would play well on rock radio stations. There's elements of Deftones, Limp Bizkit, Korn, etc. found in this track. Heavy guitars, deep bass lines, brutal drum beats, DJ scratch noises and a blend of shouted vocals and rap/hip-hop style word blurting make up the track. I would have to hear (hed) PE's entire "Broke" CD to really judge them as a band. But from this one song it sounds like they have it together and do include enough changes and variety in their music to allow them to stand out amongst countless of other bands making similar music. |
