If you took The Electric Hellfire Club and Lords Of Acid and put them in a blender, you would most likely get a sound very similar to what is found on this album. Very energetic dance style electronic songs with a funky campy vibe mixed with guitar and both male and female singing. The songs have a rather comical and playful feel to them. You can't really take any of this music seriously. It's basically just party rock. It's meant strictly to make you move in a party atmosphere. Don't expect it to touch you emotionally or anything deep like that. All of the songs here are good for the most part. However, I will admit that a few do seem to stick out more than others. The ones that I personally like the most are "Sexy Sucker", "Blondes With Lobotomy Eyes", "Lucifer's Flowers" "Yesterday's Void", "Feel The Bite", and "Mr & Mrs Bottomless Pit". These are extremely catchy songs that will stay with you long after you have listened to them. Everything else kind of just sounds the same, and is very straight forward and repetitive. They're not bad songs, they just don't really grab my attention as much. This is a good album, but it's just too uplifting, comical, and campy for me. If you're a big fan of bands like The Electric Hellfire Club and Lords Of Acid, you will probably enjoy this album a lot.
