Nexus is an industrial metal band from Athens Greece.
Unlike most industrial metal bands, Nexus actually incorporates a lot
of electronic programming and keyboards into their sound. Also, the
vocals are deep and clear and can be understood.
The songs here are rather heavy with a lot of chugging guitar riffs,
but they’re quite creative as well. They blend calm moments with aggressive
ones to offer a lot of changing emotions. Slow and cold ambient moments
turn into all out rage rock to keep the listener on their toes.
Nexus is fairly similar to Pig in
a lot of ways. The music is a blend of quiet ambiance, dramatic orchestrated
harmonies and fierce guitar thrashing and drum slamming. The vocals
are deep, accented and sing with power.
The quality of this CD is superb with great production and polish. Fans
of KMFDM, Pig,
Rammstein, etc. will
really enjoy what this CD has to offer.
