This
is a decent album by Pop Will Eat Itself (PWEI). The songs "Ich Bin
Ein Auslander", "Kick To Kill", "Underbelly", "Fatman", "Everything's
Cool", and "R.S.V.P." are the best songs to be found here. They are
energetic with great uses of electronics, synths, guitars, and distorted
vocals. They are very catchy with hip-hop rhythms and beats. If all
of the songs on the album were as good as these six, this album would
have really kicked ass. However, PWEI wouldn't be content with just
delivering all catchy and aggressive Cyber-Core style songs on their
album. They had to get experimental and include slow funky garbage such
as "Familus Horribilus", "Home", and "Babylon". The songs "Cape Connection"
and "Menofearthereaper" are decent, but are a bit slow paced and are
fairly boring. PWEI needs to realize that their true talent lies in
their angry and aggressive guitar thrashing styles. The six songs that
I mentioned that I like are industrial songs. They're not synth pop
like PWEI's previous material. It's time for PWEI to become a full fledged
industrial band, and leave the funky humor based synth pop crap behind.
