Pzychobitch is a German electro-industrial/EBM band
that features the vocals of Sina. For this reason alone the band has
a unique sound about them as there's still not a lot of electro-industrial/EBM
bands with female vocalists.
What I like about Sina, other than her stunning beauty, is her German
accented voice that sings with slight anger. She doesn't really sing
as much as she unleashes the lyrics with poisonous venom. This band
is called Pzychobitch for a reason...Sina doesn't sound
nice.
The music has a slightly dark edge combined with sci-fi electronic
progamming that is well textured with hard beats over moody melodies.
This isn't happy dance music, it's definitely got an industrial sound.
But some songs are somewhat upbeat and catchy enough for the dance
floor.
Every song offered here is quite energetic moving along at a mid to fast
pace. There's a somewhat aggressive sound throughout this entire CD.
Everything is consistent and placed in a good order allowing the ablum
to play well from start to finish.
My only real complaint is that some of the lyrics aren't very good.
Most of them are, but there are occasions when they're lackluster. But
everything else about this album makes up for this slight shortcoming.
If you think you would enjoy electro-industral/EBM with bitchy female
vocals, Pzychobitch is a great choice.
