This is a high energy packed techno alternative pop band with an english accented female singer. All of the songs found here are upbeat and designed for the dance floor. This music is not dark. It's actually very happy, cheerful, and uplifting alternative music meant for the MTV crowd. The music is very electronic with techno dance style rhythms and beats. There is guitar layered on top of this. The female vocals have a pop vibe to them, and the lyrics are the typical relationship crap that every pop band seems to sing about. But the music is very fast paced and catchy and does what it's designed to do, and that's make you dance. The singer does have a pretty good voice, but doesn't really try and do anything different from song to song. The bottom line is that this album is not going to appeal to fans of industrial or goth music. This is the so called "Electronica" music that MTV has been hyping as the next big thing. Unless you like upbeat techno alternative pop music, stay away from this.
