Staind's "Dysfunction" is a heavy, grinding, rock assault that's a must for fans of CREED, FUEL, DEFTONES and KORN. This album, from start to finish, is angry and aggressive with thrashing guitars, deep bass, heavy drum beats and raw shouting vocals. The band mixes it up well between melody and all out full force rage. Don't ever expect calm moments to stay calm for very long. Before you know what hit you, you'll be knocked to the floor by the fury released. But the band does manage to include a lot of changes in their music to keep it interesting. The singer is good at carrying a tune, and then out of nowhere shouting and growling with intense anger. The music is good at switching from funky bass lines to thrashy guitar attacks and rapid fire drum slamming. This band is very tight and structured and do make quality music. This album can't be missed by fans of hard and heavy aggressive rock music.
