This is the second Sunshine Blind album and it's a good follow up to their previous release. However, I will admit that there really isn't anything new to be heard here. It's your standard guitar heavy goth rock music featuring haunting keyboard harmonies and female vocals. There is a good mixture of melodic moments combined with aggressive ones, but the songs are still fairly straight forward and structured for the most part. The guitars, drums and vocals kind of drown out the synth melodies. Some songs do rock harder than others, but the slower songs are rather boring in my opinion. I personally feel that the best song to be found here is the cover of Flock Of Seagulls "I Ran". It's easily the most exciting thing delivered here. It's too bad more of the songs couldn't have stood out as much. Also, I would have probably enjoyed this album a lot more if the band experimented with electronics. However, other than occasional uses of synths, this is basic guitar rock. But it's still a solid album for fans of goth music.

This is a goth rock band with a female singer. Caroline Blind, the singer of this band, has a great voice. There is a mixture of rock and slower paced songs on this album. I, of course, prefer the harder stuff. But the few slow songs are good, too. My favorite tracks include "Is There", "Keyslough", "Crescent And The Star", "Burned At The Stake", "Here And After", and "Coming Down". There is a lot of energy in these songs. I like the shifting between rock and melodic in each of them. My main complaint is that the guitar and drums kind of drown out the electronic edge. Also, the songs are a bit short, barely going over three minutes each.
