The Sins are a traditional gothic rock band that have an 80s sound to them. They make their songs the old fashioned way with guitar, bass and drums. There is no electronic programming or sampling to be heard here. This is retro gothic rock music for the old school purists.

While I might have enjoyed this music back in the 80s, it’s just not really my thing these days. But I still must admit that it’s good. These musicians are talented and know their instruments. The singer is passionate and sings well with the music.

There is good variety here. Some songs are somewhat laid back and sound similar to The Cure, while others are more energetic and aggressive rocking hard and heavy.

While this band doesn’t really do anything different, they’re indeed good. Fans of traditional 80s style gothic music will definitely enjoy them.
