Reviewed by: Darklight This album contains some extremely quality melodic goth music. The overall sound presented here is somewhat comparable to The Cure in a lot of ways. The singer, Sean Sonnet, sounds similar to Robert Smith in both his voice and singing style. The music has a dark and beautiful mood to it created with guitar, bass, drums, violin and keyboard. Each one of the musicians in this band is very talented, and know their instruments. They combine soothing melodies with solid beats that make powerful and emotional atmospheres. The lyrics in the songs are well written, and sung with feeling. Each song flows smoothly making for a very fluid album that is good from start to finish. The only flaw with the CD is that a lot of the songs do tend to sound somewhat similar to each other preventing anything from really standing out. However, this doesn't take away from the album too much. The bottom line is that this CD is a must for anyone who enjoys melodic goth music.
