VERY IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:
Bands,
Labels, PR peeps, listen up. Our mailing address is changing
effective immediately. If you just sent us a submission, don't
worry, it'll get forwarded. But otherwise please take note of
the new address, and use it.
Meant
to report this a couple weeks ago. Internet radio show Electronic
Deconstruction finally has a domain name: industrial.mu
".mu" is a new extension, much like ".tv"
but intended for music sites. Here are a few words straight from
ED's DJ, Rance:
"Continuing
to march forward with promises made last year in conjunction
with the re-launch of Electronic Deconstruction, the website
now has its very own domain name. What's this mean to you? First
off, no long ass URL to remember anymore, ED is now located
at http://www.industrial.mu.
Second, interactivity; aside from a lot of behind-the-scenes
automation, plans are in the works to develop a "community"
section with things such as contact databases and a user-addable
links database. Other possibilities include a classified ads
section and maybe even forums (but you can use the fine forums
right here at Wrapped In Wire for the time being).
As
always, ED is looking for music. If you're looking for exposure,
the stream gets steady listenership of about 50 to 60 people
a day with an average listening time of an hour or so per listener.
We're looking for independent, DIY, unsigned or otherwise unknown
bands to play on the stream. Plans are also in the works to
have a weekly or nightly "Independent Artist Hour(s)" on the
stream, to be carried out by radio automation software. If you
create Industrial, Electronica, EBM, Trance, etc... and are
looking for some exposure, visit the "Promote Your Band" section
of the site."
